Why Kani, Gifu?

Japan, and especially Gifu, is known for having markedly distinct seasons. Kani City is located in the southern part of Gifu in the Tokai region, Japan’s geographical centre. Once a commuter town, it has grown to become an industrial hub with more than 100,000 inhabitants.
